Sig sapr 751

If I could expect accuracy approaching bolt gun, I suppose I would start saving money now. Are there any reports on accuracy of these rifles?

Any idea how heavy these things are?

About as heavy as the non-restricted 5,56mm rifle since the lower is made of aluminium instead of stamped steel.

I handled the final version at a gunshow a couple months ago.
Nice rifle, just way too expensive.

Since the market for these rifles isn't all that big anyway I expect SAN to make a special version for Canada.

Does anyone have any information on when or if this will be coming to Canada? Maybe some of the dealers could weigh in on this.

It looks like a renewal of the SIG 542 and comes in a tasty 7.62 x 51mm and even better from Europe. Also the barrel length would make this non-restricted. Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm tasty.

By advertising that it is "based on the legendary SIG 550" they have pretty much assured it will be classified in Canada as a "Prohibited" firearm... variant of the named Prohibited 550/551.

Lets let it go through the FRT process. The new gun is a bit different than the one in the ad above. Yes it is very light. Accuracy is outstanding, although I haven't shot one yet.
