We don't stock any of those barrels but we have an arrangement with Storm Lake that you can place your order directly on their website for any of their products (as long as barrel length is 106mm or longer).

The Storm Lake website will automatically recognize that it's a Canadian order and the order will get shipped to Questar's US office for us to take care of the export, etc... then sent to your door.

You order direct from Storm Lake... pay them directly... we take care of all the export, customs clearance and fees, shipping, etc... barrel gets sent right to your door and is all paid for... no other fees, etc..

It's all done as part of their checkout process... Instead of charging you $x.xx for domestic US shipping I believe they charge a flat $50.00 which covers the shipping, cross border transport, customs fees, taxes, Canada Post shipping charges, etc... all lumped into one charge that also includes our fees for handling the export and shipment.

Having said that there is sometimes a bit of variation in the magwells and I've see where some AR's are tighter than others so that would be another consideration.

The last batches of PMAG's I've seen are drop-free mags (as built by the factory) so if they don't drop free it may be that the rivet is too high and causing too much friction with magwell wall.

Mark how much of a rivet has to be left after filling to be legal, with some of my mags in order to get them to be drop free I don't have much of a rivet left. basically it would not take much to pop the rivet out.

The fact that you're asking and are concerned suggests that there isn't enough left to be secure and that you yourself don't think they are sufficient.

My suggestion is to finish them properly by using epoxy to permanently bond the rivet to the mag body... then there are no issues and no questions. When we do it we file down the heads so that the magazines are drop free and then epoxy the rivet and trim the epoxy to still allow the magazine to drop free after it has hardened.

It's permanent and it's bonded on both inside and out.
