Sig sapr 751

Just examined the new gun in detail a couple of weeks ago. The new mags are plastic and resemble larger versions of the PE90 20 round mags, with the connecting nubs.

I don't know why they would stick with the M14 mag. The only good reason is for us over here wanting numerous cheap mags. Their own new designed plastic mag if way better.

Maybe if this thing takes off in Canada (I'm betting it will) CanAm would do a run of Dominion mags for it. I guess we'll need to wait and see how the rifle does first though...

Not unless it shares the magwell with the 542. We only ran the 550 mags because there are customers around the world.

BTW the pic at the top is from 2007/8. The news ones are below:

Thanks for the info, I figured that would be the case. I guess we can hope there's a large enough market worldwide to justify a production run.

Wacky color/camo schemes on those PE90s!
Cheers

SAPR appears to use a SG551 handguard which isn't set up for the 550 bipod.

SAN's price-list doesn't mention the BUIS being included so I would be surprised, but I guess we'll see. I wonder about the front sight used with the BUIS, is it flip-up? Can't tell from the photo...

That thing is awesome! What is the model name?

Classic Woody
Wooded Star
Woody Special
Wooded Devil
Heavy Wood

There are 4 models of limited release to celebrate a shooting competition in Switzerland. They are called the "4 Seasons".

We have a limited # of each on order and just recieved our order confirmation fax.

Don't you fear, we'll keep you posted.

Very cool. The winter one looks pretty cool. Are they coming with flash hiders, or with straight taper barrels?
