I've had this old girl sitting quietly in my stash for some years now. She tells me that she has a very, very small family. Only 150-200 ever made. The guys over on 7.62x54r.net nearly went crazy when I posted this pic.

Damn right that thing is rare! That rifle is easily worth the total value of my collection and then some. I'd love to see more pics (as I am sure many people would!). I'm also sure 54r.net forums are firing endless PMs to you asking to document the rifle ? She will really help complete the records on the early Finnish made M1891s as you mentioned, there are so very few of them and comparing what few examples are still in their original configuration is a really big assistant to other collectors in the market who don't have the privilege to own such a piece of history.
