I saw the reason why he banned you and it was becoz you said here you wanted was to annoy the mods there. When you declare such intentions why are you surprised with the outcome?

Nobody else except a few people here object to the way he runs things and I think the village is 1,000 times more successful and friendly than this one.

Nobody else except a few people here object to the way GV is run? That's one of the dumbest things I've ever read, no one is going to object unless they don't care about getting banned. That's exactly the problem. If this forum were run like the GV is you would have been banned from here a long time ago, but unlike the GV free speech here isn't an issue.

I have a ton of respect for the work Vince does, and how helpful he is, but that doesn't change the fact that I too object to the way things are run on the GV. In my opinion Vince is a bit jaded and too quick to jump to the wrong conclusion about people's motives, which isn't all that surprising in a sport like ours where passions tend to run wild. Because of that Vince shouldn't be moderating the GV but rather leave that up to other people who can be more impartial.

Bottom line, the GV is a lesson in how NOT to run a forum.

you can question wittle Vinny, I've tried. ex The official IPSC stance ,according to Vinny, as to why they are adpoting the WADA banned substance list is "if you have to ask you wouldn't understand the answer".

Should I be DQ'd from my next match if I make a joke about doing something DQ'able on here? you seem to think that would be fine since you agree with 7.62's GV ban.

I do go there to reinforce my dislike of his autocratic style and his feeble attempts at sarcasm. In other words, he is a joke and I get a few laughs every time I visit GV. But don't kid yourself; the damage he is doing to the reputation of the governing body, outside of Hong Kong, may well be irreparable.

And as to GV being more successful?

Did you happen to note that CGN is LARGER and that we actally FIGHT the Anti gunners here instead of turning tail and running

To say the least I am a bit disappointed with some of the wankers that posted on this topic.

I am not going to be jaded by a few individuals and continue to learn about IPSC and participate. The group that I have spent time with are great and I the newbie have been treated with respect.

I have read other posts by some of the above and believe they have done a great job promoting IPSC and shooting sports. For that I have respect!

I started shooting IPSC in 1977 because it was fun. I stopped shooting it in 2007 because I couldn't stand the stuff I have been reading. I haven't bothered asking for a name change yet...

CGN only has a tiny section for "Action Shooting Games". It's not exclusively IPSC. GV has very little to do with "fighting antis".
