Lets see some pics of your Tacticool VZ 58/858s

This is a USA made pistol. I am in the US.
What do you mean baiting us?
The receiver was designated as a pistol prior to assembly. I have the approoriate number of USA parts to comply with USA laws. The threads for the stock have been oblterated and a swivel is welded in place(therefore no stock or SBR classification possible)
Sorry about the confusion but I have yet to find a forum based out of the US that matches the enthusiasm you guys have for the VZ 58.

I modified the front sight by myself with an old dental drill I no longer use at my office. Took a while but allowed me to shorten the overall length. Can't mount a bayonet any more though LOL

Thanks for the clarification. There are several things with that model that could be illegal here and right now our government is debating getting rid of the mandatory gun registry. The gun banners have their agents pouring through these pages looking for proof we need control. I hope that makes sense...and welcome.

Not to get off topic but could this model be imported as a pistol. Also do this reciever's come with the traditional stock thread in the rear or is it not ment to have 1 due to the fact it's a pistol?

Depends on whether the USDOS will issue export permits for it.

No. It only has a sling swivel.

Actually it was a receiver from ohio rapid fire. It did have threads for a stock but it was designated as a pistol and the threads were obliterated prior to assembly. This may not matter much as the shop that made them closed their doors. The owner passed due to health problems.

Hey there Hermy.
We have to be careful on CGN due to it being an "open" forum.
When pics show up that are of a clearly prohibited rifle we have to wonder.
Everyone is welcome but it's best to put where you are from in your tag under your handle so we can avoid confusion and get down to being envious of your countries firearms laws.

I didn't attempt to build it myself. I just did the front sight. I wanted to copy the novoradsky sight(sight tower chopped off and welded ) but thought that might be harder to pull off. Piece of history firearms from tucson Arizona did it.

As far as the ohio rapid fire receiver and compliance parts all went well but the trigger is heavy and poor in general. The trigger is too short. I will have to replace it with a longer trigger. Also the muzzle device from infratek is pinned into place with a small coil of metal. When I cut the front sight the pin that holds the flash hider was ruined. A new way to keep the muzzle device from unscrewing or becoming loose had to be devised.

You could just use a crush washer...?
