I'm wondering if anybody knows where one can buy an additional gel pad for a Benelli shotgun M2.It seems dealers can order them, but can't promise a delivery date.I need the middle size one ,14'' or the 14-3/8 large.

Stoeger Canada in Oshawa, Ontario, is the Benelli importer. You may be able to get one from them.

Dealer's generally won't commit to a delivery date because they too are at the mercy of the wholesaler. Having dealt directly with Stoeger Canada myself I don't blame them.

Their number is 905-436-9077.

Thanks, I took your advice and called them. They say, they are not retailers and only sell to dealers. Presently out of stock on gel pads.

Presently out of stock on gel pads. What was interesting , is that apparenty the 13 1/2" LOP,is not available anymore and the present available pads will be, 14, 14 3/8 and 14 3/4 LOP.Comfor Tech stocks come with the 14 3/8 LOP.
Thanks for the info. It must be a recent change as I have ordered parts from them previously. The next step I guess would be seeing if an American dealer has them in stock and would ship to Canada. Perhaps Brownells?

CB,
They will still supply parts, but afternmarked product that requires a special order they want to go through a dealer. I think that if they would have had the OPs pad in stock they would have sent it and tabbed his credit card.

Ah, okay, if the have a part they'll sell it to you but if they don't they want you to order it through a dealer. I don't think the gel pad is an aftermarket part though and is a part that comes with the Benelli guns.

I do know that the wait for Benelli/Beretta parts can be excruciatingly long if Stoegers doesn't have them on hand. (They aren't all that fast even if they do.) It's why I order parts from elsewhere when I can.

The pad that comes with the gun is the gun part and the shorter or longer one is an optional extra. Same applies to the comb pad. The problem with Stoeger is that they really do not keep much product to fill orders. Stoeger's business seem to be that they take bookings from retailers this year for what retailers plan to sell next year. They never seem to have much stock. I have been very fortunate and the extras that I have ordered for my 391s have come within days. Benelli pads and combs seem to be easy to get if one has an American connection. Many of the aged sporting shooter in our area seem to winter in Texas and other areas where gun parts are in abundance.
