I just recieved my Black Dog 50rd drum mag in the mail from Questar Internatonial. I had ordered it late last week and it arrived yesterday :) Very Impressed With Questar!!! So I have now fitted it to my SR-22 and it "Clicked" right in! Removing the mag was just as easy. I was a little sceptical about loading it (50 rounds is alot). First time i had it done in a little over a minute. The Cooey 600 is more painful to load :p Going to the range on thursday, let ya know how she works :D

After weeks of trying to find some decent ammuntion that would feed smoothly (and some dremel work) The federal champion 525 rnd box from wal-mart is the winner. Haven't had a missfeed since. Next runner up was the remington cyclone. They would jam at least once every 50 rounds. If anyone else is having issues with their BD drum, I'll take some pics and show you where to grind or file :)

Lowrider, why don't you just be a good little gun freak, and do up a detail on your workmanship? I would love to see what you've done. Just a little swiss filing below the feed lips I assume?

No.

Marstar got 50rd magazines in for the 10/22 & PPS-50, just a fyi for those who care.

Bought the PPS-50 drum, but didn't know Marstar had one for the 10/22 also. Will check it out. I also bought the Black Dog drum from Questar. Very pleased and also received it very quickly.

The rim of the casing seemed to get pinched on the way up (first pic). At the front, the hollow point bullets would simply catch on the "ramp" and not feed while holding the action open (second pic).
