I find I prefer to older Norinco models - closer resembling the 1911-A1 - straight serrations in the rear only / no beavertails etc...

I just bought an older model Norc Commander off the E&E, and I wish mine had the beavertail safety.. Still, the whole point of buying one was to turn it into my first project gun.

Whats with the Square Trigger guard ?

They shoot really nice...took one to the range yesterday to try it out. Finish is nice as well. They come with two mags.

Hope it shoots better than it looks - that's got to be one of the uglier 1911 knock-off's I've seen.

To me, this new design looks great! I have had one or 2 of each batches with the exception of the first parked ones. Great gun, i will buy one of these too!
