Looking for any info from any member(s) who have used a Blade Tech holster with tac light capability. I currently have a 1911 platform and want a holster for a dedicated mounted tac light.

I'm looking for something a little "slimmer" that the Safariland offerings.

I tried to email Blade Tech customer service, but "no joy". I was hoping someone here had some info and experience. Do they even ship to Canada?

If you have another option..I'm definitely open to suggestions. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I love bladetech holster, I currently have one of thier IWB set up with the quick hooks with light on.... I wanted something I could slip in my pants quick if there was some need to go armed somewhere.... this set up works well for that. this holster works with the Surefire x200 or the x300's (the x300 will push the gun up 1/4-1/2" up higher inthe holster.) just make sure you order the right holster for the right light.... my insight m3 will NOT fit this holster, only the surefire. so again make sure you order the right holster for your light/gun combo.

Tim, enefgee:

Thank you for the input, excellent info and very much appreciated.

NFG-

I was wondering what Costa was using in his videos. Those holsters look great, but the 3 month wait is a "purchase buster". I think I'll buy the Blade Tech and have one of these on order as a stand-by.

Thank you ofr that info.

Tim:

That's exactly the info I was looking for, thanks so much.

Just a quick question about your IWB holster. Can you add the belt loop or paddle accesory to the back of your holster or is it strictly a "single use" model only (no modularity)?

you would be able to add the "push the dots" type of belt loops but no paddle or anything, this is an IWB holster first and foremost...

here is a picture of the same holster with belt loops installed, notice the offside is smooth and sweat guard protects the gun well. so this holster has two options, both of which I have shown here, the quick clips or the loops.
