Also, any way to have pistol grips from the factory made so that Canadians could have a Mad Max style whippet Outlaw? It would be just like putting the pistol grip that comes with the Grizzly on.

So what the Chinese just surprise you on delivery?

I was just wondering if they could regulate the barrels or put on a taller front sight.

The barrel regulation might be hard as they are likely just chopping down longer barrels but a taller front sight shouldn't be too hard to pull off..

Maybe no one told them they don't shoot to point of aim?

No, I have not requested any changes to the design, as yet. The only issue with the front sight is snagging. We will consider it.

Sounds good, some things need to be tweaked a bit and usually the second run is where small improvements can be made.

I seem to recall the biggest issues were with the fore-ends falling off, barrel regulation and the front sight being to low but I don't have an outlaw.

I bought the backpacker and other then a bit of de-horning of sharp edges the only thing left to improve is the height of the front sight... I bought a base now I just need to screw up the courage to solder it on!

YEs, that stuff is basic QC, which is always ongoing.
