Well, I had to cancel my order due to car problems. I have an unopened box M14 hand guard tri-rail in the Parts and Bits EE if anyone needs one for a buck ten shipped.

Well I hope these suckers come in soon. I just passed up a good deal on one from another store today. Hopefully John will let us know whats going on, just for a update. Theres quite a few anxious people waiting.

We are all waiting since several months now without any updates or news.

I am waiting for a M14 and M4.

I bought an HP-9 from frontier, and had ordered an m14 also.. but cancelled my order for 2 reasons. John had the best price for the package, and MORE importantly..BECAUSE HE WARRANTIES HIS PRODUCTS, John chose to wait in order to put out a better product to all of us due to earlier issues. He put quality before profit... what more can you ask.

Frontier had a great deal on my shottie, a good deal on the m14 in a selection of colours, and great customer service.. but Marstar is in my home province, and John (like our friends at Frontier) is a no $hit guy with integrity who has battled againt the feds, and naggers in these forums constantly, yet still provides the best deals and the best variety. Thank you John and the Marstar staff. I will wait patiently for your superior product, personally guaranteed, and at the best price... all certified by my simple pre-order number. All hail Marstar... John for Prime Minister (or at least Minister of Public Safety :)

In the meantime... My Walnut stock with black pepper laminate handguard just got here from Boyds website. Factory Second due to stock chip it said. The stock is perfect...only small blemish in the stain on butt and forearm, easily fixed. It was $45. Handguard was $16. Shipping was $30, and duty to my door in Ontario was $13. Pretty nice deal for a hair over $100There was a few there, so get em while their hot!. Also my SS guide rod , shim kit and recoil buffer arrived (QUICKLY and affordably) from the Marstar gang. Just have to source a half decent and affordable scope mount and some nice optics.. So there is LOTS you can do while waiting for your awesome rifle!

Please forgive the over eager ones John.. you know for every one complainer there is 200 others waiting patiently in silence for our beloved chinese shipping container to arrive.. I am actually physically salivating, and have my cousin in California green with envy since he cant get near on at this price. Consider this a virtual man hug my brother! (*)

FWIW, there is a M14S at Gunco in Ottawa right now, looks to be new, $450. I already have several M14's, but maybe some CGN'er in Ottawa needs his fix right now?

No connection to the rifle, other than I saw it there today.
 
I was'nt trying to complain, but it would be nice to have a update on whether or not the rifles are expecting to be late. It does say arrival is June, and this is June so I would'nt say, that for someone to ask for a update one way or another of the status of the rifles is being "over eager".

I plan on using this rifle for Moose hunting in October, and I would like to have it with a scope mounted, dialed in, and with a few trips to the range before early October. So if for some reason or another, if the rifles are going to be late by more than a Month, then unfortunately I will have to go another route, and I will be forced to cancel my order, and buy from elsewhere. If I know that I will have the rifle from Marstar within a couple of weeks, then its not a problem. I would just like to know one way or another, since it is June.

So far nobody is complaining here!

However we would like to find out when the items are expected for delivery/shipping.

After all it is June already, isn't it?

All we are asking for is a update, since it is June and we have not been told anything one way or the other. Its not really asking too much, I don't think so anyways. We are the customer here right?
 
Didn't John say it was going to be mid or late June when the first shipments start going out? They arrive in June but have to get sorted out. Or am I perpetuating a rumour?
 
All I know is that when I ordered my rifle a few months ago, the guy on the phone who took my order told me that the rifles would be in early June, at which time I would be notified to send in my Money Order. Then by the time that my M.O. arrived, things would be sorted out at their end, and I would be recieving my Rifle by Mid June.

That was the last rock solid thing I was told, on the delivery date. Now I don't really care if they are going to be a couple weeks late, but I would just like to know. I emailed Marstar directly this week, and I was told that they are not in yet. I am not upset that they are not in yet, I just would like to be updated on the status.

So, if you have the time John, I'd love a status update... although in all likelihood it will slow down the process for everyone when you stop to give me an update ;)
 
Sorry if I upset anyone with my origional post. It was'nt meant to me taken as a insult, or rude in any way. I just want a update, because I have a timeline for this gun(Moose Season). I really need to know if I am going to have the M305B within a month or so, just so I can have it dialed in, with a scope, and proven, before I take it up to Thunder Bay for 2 weeks in Early October.

If there is any doubt that the rifles are'nt going to be in soon, then I may have to go another route. Either way, I would like to know just to put my mind at ease. I would'nt normally be so anxious, but I recently sold my Browning Bar in .300winmag(my Moose rifle), under the assumption that I would have the M305B by now.

We base our anticipated delivery dates on the information provided to us by the manufacturer.... We can only tell you what they tell us....
Will our shipments begin in June ? We are told they will, this is all I can say at this point....
