actually it is a way around around the USA foriegn import laws, some of the guns need to be reassembeled before shipping, for example a lot of them are brought in with adjstable "target" sights to make the point system for import... same reason sub compacts have grooved "target" triggers.

I don't know if it changed, but I heard tennifer wasnt approved in america so they might change the slide finish for something else.

I heard they would be using melonite on the Glock forum. Also we have 3 different Glocks available here the regular Austrian version with proofs and US import markings under the trigger guard(which is rare and desirable among collectors)
