Enfield Bren LMG MKI mixed with MKII help (warning - pic heavy)

Hello!

I own a "Frankenstein" Bren MKI. It's a MKI with some MKII parts.

I need help to find which parts are MKII. I also want to know if you can spot non-Enfield parts (the receiver is marked "ED" 1941) on my Bren too.

So far I know that the bipod is MKII, the butt stock is also MKII, but for the rest (if any) I will need help of most knowledgeable folks.

buttplate should be different with a flip over thingy at the top for a shoulder rest.

Can't help with the Mk. I/II parts, but looking at this magnificient piece of military history, I feel a loss at never having had the opportunity to shoot one myself and not likely ever getting the chance in the future thanks to Allan Rock, Wendy Cukier and the Liberal party. They have gutted a portion of our history and heritage with no thoughts or concerns for what they have cost us. Arrogant, treasonous bastards, all of them.

John, that was gone by the end of the "Phoney War".

The illustrated gun is a "get rid of the frills" MkI which in Canada would have been marked as a MkI(M).

The gun is correct, except for possibly a MkII butt slide...
