Good question - I have an extension, and it appears like it would be pretty solid without the clamp (cap screws on, and extension screws into clamp). You lose the sling swivel, but if you go single-point, you'd probably anchor it back by the pistol grip.

I wonder if it would vibrate loose... easy way to find out - take the clamp off and run it for a couple days, and see. I suspect it'd be alright.

A good guess on forum, but that beast looks like it would be better suited in "Black and Green Shotguns" :)

take it easy folks, its a "shotgun" and I am just trying to get the widest array of experience as possible for the answer. ya'll do not need to respond if it doesn't concern you.

Just trying to point you in the right direction. :)

LOL, no need to get all worked up now do we.

Firstly I don't hate black guns as I have a few myself, both rifles and shotguns. I'm just pointing out that "there are 2 washrooms and you're peeing in the women's stall".

Also it's wasting not waisting.

But you don't have to feel sorry for me, I'm getting paid good money to sit in an office to surf the net.

I know what you do, my buddy was training there before he deployed about 2 years ago. Take it whatever way you want, I have no reason to argue with you.

This is the first time someone called me fat tho...

Have a nice weekend.

I agree with you. However, the "sporting shotgun" folks cannot provide you with more input than the ones in the "tactical shotgun" section.

Barrel clamp is needed because that long magazine extension will bend the first time you bump it into something or put a little torsion with the help of the barrel.

However, you would be more successful in the pistol section, since most there shoot tactical rifles, as opposed to us. Please be polite even if you think you are right.

Actually no it not since it falls under "sporting" shotgun "bud". Now none of this concerns you so f**k off. I realy don't care how much you hate "black" guns, your not required to comment. I'm glad your waisting your boring life making useless comments on a gun forum, I feel sorry for you.

How does the gun in your "self portrait" picture fall into the "sporting" Shotgun forum? If your into "posing" go to the "black and blue" Shotgun section. You will feel right at home there. And lose the attitude or this forum will beat you to death.
You are new to the board play by the rules.
