If I want to shoot IPSC sanctioned rifle matches and 3 gun matches, which rifle would you recommend in terms of excellent quality, accuracy, light weight, 10 rds. mag capacity and, of course, reliability? I don't mind to pay good money for something that is worth it.

I have a Swiss Arms CQB and HK SL8, which takes 10 rd mags. The reason I am looking for something else, is that although both of those rifles are about the best you can get, each one of them has their own drawbacks for the purpose intended - SAN has only 5 rd. mag capacity (although I do have 10 mags for it, you loose time changing them every 5 rds. on the IPSC course of fire), and SL-8 is pretty heavy to run with (especially with the Elcan mounted on top).

Any advise would be appreciated.

Ar15.....
It's the only way to go with what you are looking at.
Uses 10 round mags....manual of arms is optimal for handling, mag changes, etc...
Also a s**tload cheaper to purchase, run than your current units.
If you want to 'swim upstream', you can persevere with either of your current units....

I have both a SAN and ARs, the AR allows for fast mag change, which will help in IPSC

Thank you, I was leaning in AR the direction myself. Now the question is - which AR? There are so many on the market. Which one in your opinion is best suited for IPSC, mounted and fast removeable accessories/optics, accuracy, reliability, etc. I was looking on line at a couple of top end ARs like STI, LMT, etc. - can't make up my mind.

I would pick LMT as a good safe choice. Others would pick others. Research it abit and get what you like best.

I'm by no means an expert, so can only advise you to buy what I want :)

From what I've read, you really can't go wrong with LMT.
