I saw a new one in 7.62x39 for sale in the EE the other day from a Dealer. Tons of information in the Black Rifle Forum. They seem well regarded by those that own them.

I talked to Frontier today. They just sold all of their XCRs and going to get them .223 in soon.

Are you referring to my ELCAN SpecterDR? If so then it's very nice (and it's Made In Canada)

If you are referring to the Midwest Industries BUIS, then they too are pretty good. Believe it or not, I have more fun shooting with the irons than I do with the scope. You seem to hit whatever you are aiming at, all the time
Mind you, it's like that with the Elcan too
