AKM stock brass pinch fix?

Hello all (nooobie )

Is there a consensus as to the best fix for the brass pinch issue on the AKM scope bridge rail? Skillfully mill aluminum off the rail or clip the extractor spring? My new stock catches one out of ten or so.

clip the extractor spring first,
this will probably fix it.

2 coils of the extractor, 3 off the ejector.

Yep,
Just need to change the direction of ejection.
