Thanks Jerry, running them through right now.
Gee thanks guys![]()
Nice groups btw. That tiny bit of vertical could be 1,000,000 variables but shooting VLDs in the .3s is great. I have done a .093 group and during a match got as little as .271. The 6mmBR looks better on paper once you get to 600 yards. Not that I am the expert on the subject, but at 100 yards the true tale is not really told IMO.
As far as the comment on the color goes, its just a jest. Purple is definitely not my color tho. I am starting to really like color on rifles now. Not too long ago I was shocked by anything other than black.

Thanks for the great review of the stock. We were a bit late on delivery of this one (and a few others!!). We have a new GM doing scheduling now and getting things on track. Our deliveries are already better and getting better still.
Looks like it will be a V whacker for sure!
Brian, it does not matter if the groups are vertical or horizontal as long as they are tight. You are off to a great start and I know that with seating depth adjustment, that group will bug-hole.
So Jerry, by tuning for a flat group, do you mean just finding a load that has the least vertical?
Brian: Mission on the 27th... a one-day match. Betcha a beer a point?
Thanks again for the 4831 Brian.....your a life saver!!! Too bad we couldn't have made it in early enough to see that bad boy in action.
Was good to see you again and more importantly, I look forward to seeing you hand everyone their asses on platters in the coming year or 2.![]()

Sorry Machinist, tomorrow is no good for me, I would have loved to come out though. Maybe next week. I'm gonna hit PoCo again later today.
LOAD TUNING
• Find the Sweet Spot--A load that is too light or too heavy can cause vertical problems. When you've tuned the load right, you should see a reduction in vertical. Even 0.1 grain may make a difference, as will small changes in seating depth.
