We want to express our thanks to all the shooters who came out from far and wide and who all pitched in to help the event go smoothly.

Thanks to our sponsors (in alphabetical order) Bushwhacker Inc. in Peace River, GP Tactical, Lyons Production Services in Grande Prairie, Neit Arms, and North Eastern Arms.

S & J Hardware was also a sponsor, but the mail didn't make it in time. We'll save them for our next match this fall, Simon!

All your prizes found good homes. :)

And special thanks to albertacoyotecaller. Sucks to come in 3/4 second out of the money, eh Greg?:nest:

Stevo, I didn't use my Glock. I lent it out and used my Kimber 1911 .45...

Oh, that's right. How could I forget the targets disintegrating in a shower of sparks under the onslaught of the mighty .45 ACP!

F**king A I'd really love to get in to this ,"IF" I had the time and money, read ammo, mostly time ,looks pretty sweet.

All you have to do is show up at our next one. It's not that expensive to give it a try. Round count was less than 50 pistol, 50 shotgun, 75 rifle and entry fee was $20. We had 3 or 4 guys show up with virtually no gear or guns and got them set up with loaner stuff. BBQ lunch and all the Gatorade and water you could drink was included.

We had a shooter come from Slave Lake, two from Fort St. John, BC, two from Grande Prairie, one from Calgary and pauls stopped in on his holidays, and he's from Toronto.

I'd estimate that almost half of the shooters were at their first 3 gun match.

It is pretty sweet.

Forgive my noob-ness, but I heard something about a requirement for a Black Badge to run 3-gun?

If not, I'd be all over 3-gun like white on rice!!!

awesome photos! looks like a good time had by all!

Looks like a good time :)

Congrats.

John

Thanks. A good time was had by all. Except maybe those who shot from the ant hill.:)

at least he stayed standing all day and didn't fall on his ass like the unmentioned 1st place winner did ;)

I would like to thank the sponsers as well... thank you guys for supporting the shooting sports in canada. :)

I fell on my face, not my ass. ;)

Had a great time in the sun and am looking forward to the next one.

3 Gun

Yesterday was a blast! It was hotter than hell though. I got into my truck and it said it was 84 out there!

We fought through the sun, finished the match and continued onto the steel match. That is always fun.

I want to thank all the sponsors for the prizes as they were a hit.

We are looking at hosting another one September'ish and it is probably going to be a team event so start thinking about attending it.

Thanks to all my competitors as well. Good shooting with you!

Greg

White on rice

There are all different versions of three gun or multi gun sanctioned by different organizations. This was a Greg/Steve sanctioned event so no black badge course required although as a joke I asked to see the holster certification from the guy from Ontario!

Greg

It was a great day of shooting. Looking forward to many more events in the future.

Black Badges? We don't need no stinkin Black Badges!

Yes Stevo falling was very graceful, but he maintained excellent muzzle control.
