The Websters Definition of tactical:

I would think the only ***tactical application of a 10/22 would be crowd control, a good travel gun if you had to run as it is light as is the ammo, maybe hunting small game. So a giant, heavy and bulky 10/22 designed to look like an AR type of weapon but with none of the power seems sort of the opposite of tactical...however it is tacticool and I do enjoy looking at them, and loved the one I built...and sadly sold
So this got me thinking, a truly tactical 10/22 would be as light as possible, but durable and accomplishes this without losing accuracy. This I think would come mostly from being able to hold and fire it comfortably, as even if it was just a barrel and trigger I don't think the "kick back" would be enough to effect accuracy.
Anyone have a picture of a 10/22 they built with this in mind? I am thinking of making this my next project
***This is another just for fun project. I do not anticipate requiring a weapon for any of the above reasons and am fully aware of the unlikelyhood of any of the above scenarios. It is just fun to have a goal and then build towards it.
