Hi Everyone...

I've been cursed with large hands that have short fingers. This makes gripping a pistol difficult at times, especially a double-stack pistol like my Norinco NP-22 (Sig P226 copy).

Currently, I have a set of Pachmayer grips on it (they were included by the seller) but they're just too big for my hands. I like that they're soft rubber (the ABS plastic Norinco grips were not good for me at all) but they're just too thick.

Can anyone recommend a decent grip for a stubby-fingered individual such as myself? Maybe just Sig factory grips?

I've read online that Sig aluminum grips (Hogue as well) are slimmer than the standard plastic grips and have an excellent checkering pattern for increased grip.

The only problem is that they are very expensive and since NP22s are $350+tax to begin wtih you would be spending 50% of the gun price on grips...

Yeah... I'm not about to spend $250 on grips for a gun I paid $340 for (with Pachmeyer grips). I think I'll grab some sig factory grips.

I would :D. It's all about having pride in your collection, and customizing everything to suit your likes/needs. Can't put a price on it if it makes it look sweet!

I also have no self control though..

If I'm going to do that I'm going to put them on a real SIG...

CRAFM (See on top) has a large selection of Hogue grips. They have Hogue Extreme alumnium for 169$.

Sure it's worth more than half the price of the norc pistol but nothing prevents you from selling them separatly or put them on a real SIG if you ever buy one.

OR selling them if you ditch the Norc!
