has anyone tried manners rifle stocks ? looking for a bit of feedback

their pro's are that they are reasonably priced and apparently quite good ( on part with McM ). they offer a very nice range of factory paint jobs as well

I have an MS GAT that I bought because it could be delivered very quickly. The stock is well made and light, but its lack of a good quality adjustable butt pad is a negative. the butt is so large that after-market rigs don't fit. I'd go Robertson if i were to buy anything.

i read on their webiste that the GAT is an ambi stock and therefore has a build up on each side for cheek weld

im going for a T4 as i couldnt justify another $250 for an adjustable cheek piece i wont need

I find that Manners are stiff and proportioned very well but the paint does not compare to Gel coat.

i have two of them t4a,and love them i would compare the quality of them to any mc millan or robertson,and you will most likely get one of theirs quicker.in my oppinion

GAT has the option of AMBI or right hand.

I've got a T-1 and I love it. Comfortable to shoot for me.

I've got a T4A on the way for my Sako AV.. I'm getting very impatient waiting for it to arrive however..

They are excellent stocks. Haven't seen a molded colour yet but fit and finish are very good. They don't offer the shiny gel coat target type finish but will probably join McMillan in supplying the marbled finish.

i dont particularly care for the marble finish. Manners offers 3,4 and 5 colour digital camo, amongst a long list of other patterns. if i was to have it camo'd then i would have it done by them in digital
