M4 carbines

Thats some loyalty, pay more wait more. Im taking mine to the range as we speak. Good lick gomee...

Not paying any more than any-one else. Us Alberta boys don't have to pay the extra tax as you know. I have a significant order with Marstar, the rifles are not the only things being shipped to me on this order. As per John's post that I have re-posted, I can wait for for quality rather than having issues and having to return them at some point in time. Marstar has always been good to me.

I have enough toys to keep me busy until they arrive and a few other toys from else-where on the way.

God I love being an Albertan!

John are you able to tell us what the quality issues were that caused the delay? I am still on the fence about ordering one from you or just driving to William's Arms in Port Perry. If this has already been answered I am sorry I missed the post.

TIA

I found the post...

LIGHT INFANTRY;
"Can you clarify"
While I certainly welcome your interest in our products and procedures I am very reluctant to discuss our internal workings....

"those concerns were cleared up you purchased a quantity of rifles?"
Yes you are correct....However it was a Little more involved than that....
In as much that Marstar garantees each and every item that we sell we have to be ever so carefull of everything we buy.... When we have concerns, whether minor or major we prefer to clear them up BEFORE the fact rather than attempt to address the issue once the products are in the customers hands....

"So then, are your rifles different?"
To answer your question simply, yes they are....

Please understand that because other importer/dealers may not be as demanding as we are and may or may not offer the same warranty policy they are sometimes prepared to accept product made to different standard.... This is not to say that the product is inferior in any way, but rather it would not meet OUR DEMANDING STANDARDS.

When we discover an issue or a QC problem we want id fixed or remedied before we accept delivery, do we make public the issues in question, certainly not.... Why should we assist other retailers who don't wish to put in the extra effort.... ?

I hope I have answered your questions
John

Tough call! I wish I knew the exact differences if any.

@ $699, I have ALOT of patience! After all... Good things come to those who wait!!!

Cheers
Jay

Every other Norc dealer has them. You must have a LOT lol

Yes, your correct... Except... I am a loyal Marstar customer for two reasons...
(1) The RCMP raid they were subjected to...
See this link, http://homepage.usask.ca/~sta575/cdn-firearms/Misc/marstar.raid
(2) The warranty that Marstar offers on their product, & in the case of these M4 rifles, the quality issues they resolved BEFORE getting to the end user, ME!

Cheers
Jay

I`ll be buying one of those CQs in the future - CBABES lmk when you get yours as after I buy my pistol I`ll be putting away for this rifle

I'm sticking with Marstar because without them the prices wouldn't be where they are now...yes, I'm going to get hit with the HST garbage but at least it's not going to be $850+ like it used to be...(and where else am I going to buy 2 sweet NP-22's to go along with this fine Norinco product when they come in also)...

I am number 11 on the order list!! For X 2. Do you think we will see these in July John? Need to make sure there is room on the old Visa!

You are doing God's work here my friend.

FRITZHANZEL;
"While transfers cannot be done at this point in time, SN should be available, so invoicing should be possible. "
You must know something we are not aware of ? Yes we have our packing lists, yes we have serial numbers, yes we have the crate numbers, yes we have the container number

NONE of which is valid to us until our staff insprect each and every firearm, double checks serial numbers, then and only then do we issue them to our customers....

Sorry but we would rather be carefull than sorry....

John

OK ALREADY;
We have two containers on the water as we speak, the CQ-a rifles in one and a second container of pistols....

Un-expected delays in the port in China

ETA should be around 2-3 weeks....
John

I have tried to find quality issues with the M4s from the other dealers but everyone seems extremely happy. I am going elsewhere as well.

As posted before, I will patiently wait for Marstar's shipment.
