Hello Gentlemen!
I have a little situation that perhaps we can all work on together. I have a Swedish M-94 that has had a stock sporter job done to it. However, the metal and bolt are all intact and matching. It is an 1898 rifle with a very low serial number. I want desperately to restore it, but have come accross one huge snag. No one seems to have an M-94 or M-94/15 stock set anywhere in Canada! I am thus asking here. I am willing to pay a fair price for one if someone happens to have one. I know there are alot of members here, and I really REALLY would like to entertain a Canadian transaction before investigating the USA market, as importation can be quite a hassle, even for some lumber and bands.
I would be happy to also offer a complete set of pictures and range reports, once I have them, of the Swede once she has been restored, to the person who sells me the stock set.
This is a chance of my young life to bring back to originality, a real piece of pre-1900 history. Just think, the FIRST year production at Carl Gustavs Gevarsfaktori, the carbine within the first 1600 ever produced from that great factory! And YOU might be able to help me restore her to her former glory!
I am also interested in learning all I can of this arm, so if anyone knows anything about they they wish to share, please post here!
Yours Sincerely,
Drachenblut
