Coyote

Get yourself a real yote gun .22-250 bolt action. Most of these critters are hit with the first round. The semi .223 is best in the gopher fields.

Tell that to the folks in the southern USA, many of whom really love their AR-15s for predator hunting. The OP is in southern Ontario too, so maybe he's hunting in some thicker stuff where the utility of a semi might be more practical.

I guess I should have mentioned it. I'm trying to stay away from the Min-14 or other Military style semi .223's in fear of the Liberals getting in and making them all Prohibs because thats their agenda. May whatever God you believe in help us on that.

So does anyone make a semi .223 that fits that bill?

Not a semi, but I now use a 7615 for varmint. It's nice with the lar 15 magazines.

I had a 7615 but the accuracy sucked, shot min of barn at best. Is yours any better?

It's about 2"-4" at 100 yards. I own all brush and the biggest clearing is 150 yards treeline to treeline. So it does what I need. Keep in mind that is with the ghost ring Wilson combat sights. I'm sure I could get close to MOA if it were scoped. I have a 7600 carbine in 30-06 that is 1.5" scoped at 100. It's nice to have those plus the 870 all with the same action.
