Does anybody know the going rate for 308 Barnes TTSX bullets and where they are available? It looks very interesting for longer range hunting.

Thanks

130gr - $50.99
150gr - $53.99
168gr - $55.99
180gr - $57.99

I buy all mine from a local shop in Vanderhoof BC!

The WSS here in edmonton is priced very similar to the above list. With the TTSX bullets if you are using a 300 magnum and shoot at a deer the bullet may not mushroom in time to do mre damage. A couple years ago I was out moose hunting and saw no moose but several deer. Shot a nice buck at around 100 yrds and thought I missed cause I saw the bullet kick up turf about 300 yrds behind the deer. That was with a 300 Wby mag. .308 hole going in and .308 hole going out.

Here's what they will cost from me.
+ tax & shipping.

In an effort to fill a bit of a calibre gap I have;), I've just picked up a Husqvarna 270 Win.:D from a gentleman on site, "Why not?", and I'm thinking of trying out some Barnes in it. Looking for price and availability on the following;
130gr TSX BT
130gr MRX BT
140gr TSX BT

How far did the deer run before hitting the ground dead?

:D The four boxes of 270 Barnes 130gr TTSX, and the unexpected overpayment refund, arrived this morning:D. Now ;)to crank up some loads for my latest Husqvarna acquisition.

Was at the range most of yesterday testing some Barnes 225gr TSX in the 358NM and some Barnes 120gr & 140gr TTSX in the 7x61 S&H. :redface:A box and a half of 225's out of the 358NM has made the shoulder a little tender.

Anyway Henry, thanks for a good price and an excellent deal:D. We'll definately deal again in the future.
