22 hornet (cz 527 mannlicher) who want one!!

I have been trying to order a CZ model 527 Mannlicher stocked rifle for a few years as the cataloge list them. My friend try to order them and was told that it was a misprint in the cataloge and they haven't built any in 5 years. So this year I asked my friend to ask about these at the 2010 SHOT SHOW, the salesmen said they still make them! Great I say! But when he got back and tryed to order a few it was a no go, shorten the story CZ was going to do a special production run this year with delivery in June 2010. A fax showed up end of June from the CZ importer saying that CZ needs 50 units to do a special run, my friends shop order 8 and I think some other shop ordered a few. So the reason for this post is if anyone is interested in a pre-order sale to fill the remainder of this production run, please contact your local CZ ditributer and see if we can finnish filling the order so they can go ahead and make them! If you don't have a dealer, I can set you up through my friends shop if you don't have a local dealer. sO WHO IS LYING HERE! SEEMS THE IMPORTER IS MAKING UP STORIED OR SOLD ALL HE HAD AND DID NOT HONOR MY FRIENDS SHOP ORDER!! I will be informing my friend and see what the CZ importer has to say about Prophet River having these!! I will be calling you guys as I really want one or 2 of these if I can't pick it up from local shop, thanks for the info Sako Alberta, I really appreciate it!!

I'm sure they weren't lying-they are pretty good to deal with. However, we had to import these ourselves to get them; from the Kansas City importer(CZ-USA) I think we've actually got two in stock and both have nice wood.
 
Clay thanks for verifiying that you did not get these through the Canadian importer, as when I heard you has some, it made me very upset:( Thanks for letting me know where your MS 22 hornets came from, much appreciated. As my friend shop ordered 8 and all are pre sold, I was just trying to get other Hornet fans to fill the rest of the order so we could get our rifles locally! If this turns out to be impossible I will order a few through you if they will not due the special run for canada, thanks again for your help and info. your Ontario neighbor Dale in T-Bay;)

I always try to buy locally so I support local small buisness, as the economy is very bad here in T-Bay every extra cent should be spent to support our local gun stores, as if you don't there will be non left! I don't have a problem in dealing with Clay for the rare hard to get guns and his prices are real good and I am going to buy the next 303 Ruger #1 that come up for sale, the problem is Clay has to many nice things to buy and I can only resist a little:D If the CZ importer does not come through I will direct others who pre ordered to Prophet River for a CZ 527 FS 22 hornet, Dale in T-Bay:)
