If you were to buy a dlask reciever would it be with or without the built-in rail. For those of you that have one which did you buy and why. This going onto a Boyds tacticool stock with a dlask 16" fluted barrel.

Thanks James

Depends what you want to do with the rifle...

I put 20-25 MOA rails on all my .22s so that they can be shot at long range, so I would go without.

i have a railed dlask receiver, my scope runs out of elevation at 140 yards, i would like at least to be able to zero for 200 yards, or even 250 yards, does dlask offer a 20/30 moa base for their flat top receiver??

Stock

I bought my stock from rimfire sports and custom. Delivery was $10 and customs charged me $20. It was more expensive than direct from Boyd's but Boyd's have stopped building them. It's a pretty sweet stock. I can see that I will have to bed it though.

My current solution has been to cut up a pop can and shim the rings with the pieces of pop can. I have a Bushnell 3-9x rimfire scope and with it zeroed at 25 yards I still have enough elevation in the scope to shoot out to 300 yards.

If you want a more expensive solution than a cut up pop can Burris makes a pretty decent set of rings (Burris Zee Rings) with inserts up to 20 moa.
