BP shotgun

Just got my first BP shotgun. Its a 12 gauge CVA.
I have never fired one and have read the Lyman book with instructions and some online information. What are some hints on loading?
What sort of wads should I be getting? And from where??

start with 75 grains of FFG powder on you measure.
Dump this in, and ram a 1/8" cardwad on top of it, then follow tha witrh a lubed fibre wad.
Put in an equal amount of shot from the measure, then stick an overshot wad on top of that, cap it, and have fun!
Ypou can get the wads from becky at Hillfolk muzzle loading supplies in Senlac, Sask.
be aware that you are going to be using 11 guage wads, NOT ten gauge , for you ,muzzle loader.
many prefer to delete the lubed vfibre wad and use two card wads, but I have alwys had good shooting using a lubed fibre wad.
