Ar10 buis?

Any suggestions for AR10 back up irons? Can you use the AR15 ones or are they different? I like the idea of the flip up ones, both front and rear. The HK style ones are also appealing.

Any advice appreciated. Cheers.

Okay, there are some sights out there advertised as AR10 sights hence the question.

Those are quite specific "Manufactured specifically for the Armalite 20" AR-10 Rifle and the Armalite16" AR-10 Carbine gas blocks" So, unless you have an Armalite 20" or 16" AR10 with Carbine gas block, I'd keep shopping

That sight mounts to the gasblock. If you are mounting to a gas block, then yes, you need to get a specific front sight as I don't know if all gas blocks are made to the same height. As I said, any sight will work as long as they are on the same plane. Mount a hand guard sight on a gas block and you'll have troubles as it will be too low.

Get a railed handguard, use handguard mounted front sight and you can use any sight you want. If you are going to run a gas block folding sight, you might as well get a gas block with it built right in.
