Might be ok on seals, but apparentlky it is just barely ok for moose. in a survey of over 12,500 moose kills,

HEY!! Taken out of context. Not a fair representation of my post!! I do not, nor ever will, own a magnum anything!!
I have no problems shooting whatever I need to with my .30-06, .308, .303, .243, .303 improved, or even the .30-30.
I care about shot placement and have never had to leave a wounded animal in the woods to die because I couldn't find it, even when I used a lowly .20ga.
