Need ATT!!! - moving in 2 weeks & can't contact Ontario CFO

Everytime I ever needed an Att or needed to talk to the Ontario CFO I simply call 1800-731-4000! Follow the prompts for the ATT and your good! If you need to change adress with the CFO they can put you through no problems, and yes you wait on hold but not too long! I must call them every 2 days to check on my ridiculously delayed transfers, and I get through really easily every time! Not sure what your problem is but I can't say I've ever had any issues!

So, July sixth, the day after I left two messages explaining my situation - after calling the non-toll-free number - I received 3 calls.

What is my guess as to why they never returned any of the other calls? The other messages were left after being transferred to what should have been a voice mail, but it definitely wasn’t the same outgoing message that the non-toll-free number brings you too, so maybe no one gets those messages??? – In any case there is room for improvement...

Anyway, my issue is taken care of. Thanks, everyone, for the tips and suggestions!

I believe you, but it surprises me. Like I said, I called the toll free number, at least 4-5 times, and 3 of which I was on hold for more then 35 minutes before I gave up... :(

ATT's

Yup, it only took about 5 minutes to get the ATT – once I got a hold of someone…

The first time I called the office the young woman patiently gave me an over view of how things work in the office. She gave me the first names and locals of several of the people on staff and their irresponsibilities. From that point on I called specific people called them by name and thanked them when my transaction went well. The key person for me is the woman who handles the ATT's. She has never failed to give me outstanding service and she knows I appreciate her work on my behalf. In general I try to avoid dealing with a nameless "office" and to hook up with real people who may remember my name. The occasional "thank you note" costs little and is very effective
