Anyone shooting Area 7 at Pathfinder in Fulton, NY ?

Thinking of shooting it this year as I have family 15 min away.

If you are a gearhead there is a USAC Silver crown race 15 min away in Oswego, NY on the 4th the day before the match and a Super modified race Sat the 7th. The Fulton speedway has a World of outlaws race on the 3rd. and Dirt modified on the 7th.

Not sure, but is there a level 3 or big match at GMPS,.."Monster Match?"
Anyone going?

I haven't decided yet.

I have friends just north of Syracuse and she's a member of Pathfinder. I shoot there quite often.

I joiined USPSA about 6 weeks ago.

Sent my application yesterday,..trying to shoot thursday afternoon or Friday morning....
I just got to get used to my thinner base pads and Bladetech holster.....although I don't see any stages that would benefit from a race holster.

got a legal question to post here,...

I am thinking of flying from Bangor, Maine to Syracuse,NY. Will I have any problems flying FROM Syracuse, NY back to Maine when I check my guns and ammo?
I am only using 10rd mags,...(real 10rd mags).

Why would you think there would be a problem one way, yet not the other? They do expect you to get home!

As long as you have your Form 6 filled out correctly, the match invitation, and then your ATT, everything should be fine. Make sure you have the TSA locks on your gun box so they can check if they want.........makes it a lot easier.....and you don't get broken locks when you get your guns back.

Good luck, and have fun!!

I assumed Bangor would not care as much as the NY airport security.
TSA locks?,...where do I get or ask for those?
DOes my ammo have to be locked as well? how much can I bring?

Don't waste your money on TSA locks, let then get you and you can be there for the inspection.

You can fly with 11lbs of ammo in a separate case (checked) from the firearm.

I decided not to go, as I've put 36000km in 5 months and 5600 of them were in June.

Most of the luggage stores have TSA locks. Just look for the logos. http://www.google.ca/search?q=tsa+locks
For ammo weight you'll have to call your airline. Most of them have like 5kg limit, though I am not sure about domestic US flights.

Great match. Small enough to be shot in a half day. Challenging stages that stressed different skills. Some people who needed to be slapped, did get slapped. :D
