You should run out and buy a 13 pound mainspring (like $10 or less) for that CZ. It will vastly improve the trigger pull.

I got mine from Angus Hobdell but there is a Gunnutz member (CeeZeer?) here who sells them as do some of the sponsoring dealers. I think the member is also in BC.

I'm looking to get a CZ 85C as soon as my Aimpoint sells.

Need an ESP gun for IDPA

75SA in 9mm would be a better choice for ESP, and cheaper too. 85C is the gun to run in SSP thou, unless you trim Shadow to 39oz.

So how do you "trim a Shadow to 39oz."? I have thought about ...

Since SSP doesn't allow mods to the gun such as taking metal off of frame or slide, you need to get ultra light Marshals' walnut grips to replace factory rubber ones and may have to take some metal off mag brake spring.
I'll be checking with supplier tomorrow again on hammers' availability.

How do the sights on the 75sa compare?

I was thinking the 85c has the benefit of running in either SSP or ESP as well

75SA has grip very similar to Shadow and a bit different from 75B and 85C. Safety levers are same too, and I like that. It seems to be more accurate than 75B or 85C.
Personally, I wanna stick with SA for ESP and modify Shadow for SSP if I shoot it. Spartan for CDP.
I'll be replacing factory SA sights with Tactical rear and FO front, factory sights are so so. Tactical for rear as it's pretty comparable with Comp sight but due to different shape with no sharp corners, will be easier and safer (no cutting into shirt, body) to carry and draw; snag free.

85 Combat is a very capable gun, but I like Shadow and 75SA better Also will be using SA in USPSA L10 Minor as I went with 9mm for mags and ammo reasons.

SA is also cheaper than 85C, Wolverine sells them for $655 vs $755 for Combat.

But in the end it all comes down to personal preferences.
