I dunno, the below data sounds like more than a few were sold ;)

From wikipedia:

Belgium: Used by the Special Forces Group of the Belgian Armed Forces Land Component.[7]
Croatia: The Croatian Army tested the rifle in 2006. As of 2008, the 1st Airborne Company of the Special Operations Battalion is the only army unit equipped with this weapon. According to unofficial estimates, 100 rifles have been purchased.[8]
India: Used by the Special Protection Group.[9]
Libya: Purchased a number of F2000 assault rifles along with other assorted lethal and non-lethal systems from FN Herstal in 2008 with deliveries slated to begin in April 2009.[10] The export of the weapons was initially blocked over concerns of proliferation into other volatile regions.[11]
Poland: In limited use by the GROM special forces group.[12][13]
Saudi Arabia: The Saudi Arabian National Guard purchased 55,000 rifles in 2005.[14][15]
Slovenia: In June 2006, the ministry of defence of the Republic of Slovenia signed a contract with FN Herstal involving the acquisition of 6,500 F2000 rifles as the new standard service rifle for the Slovenian Army (Slovenska vojska) along with the 40mm LG1 grenade launcher.

I like the design, despite the fact it looks like a toy.

I heard they have a high rate of fire in automatic mode, which could be a good or bad thing depending how you look at it :D

There is a massive epic failure if the biggest client is saudi arabia! The belgium landforce did buy 2 FN2000 with GL for each section. IMHO, it is a political move more than something based on need.

However, I won't be surprised when the FNC finally dies, it will be a modified SCAR that replaces it.

You think with how well the SCAR program has fared to date? :p

I agree that I think the sales are mostly political moves, but I also believe that the continued push to keep M4s in the US armory is political too... doesn't mean both rifles aren't good.

the scar is an american solution highly influenced by the m4. its probably diluting sales of the f2000. that and the tavor is competing inthe same market.
