Agreed, absolute horrible choice considering other offerings out there.

I'd also wonder why they mounted that sight base on top of the bolt... that just looks screwy, and would guarantee your accuracy would drop....

Agreed, you would think that since they redesigned this rifle for the 500 S&W they would have come up with a better solution for the rear sight.

What we need is a nice Canadian version, with a 14inch barrel

A bolt-mounted peep sight worked just fine on the Winchester Model 71, but the Remington ramp sight base is pretty hokey looking.
