What do you think a 1957 Remington Wingmaster 12 gauge (2 3/4-inch) in very good to excellent condition is worth?

Choke has been opened up to modified and it has shot numerous ducks and geese.

Would depend on what its chamber is.
Expect to get a bit more for 3".

Most seem to sell in the $250-$400.00 range.

While a great shotgun they are not considered collector's items simply due to the huge numbers made (over 10,000,000, if I recall correctly).

The OP said that the chamber is 2 3/4.:D Since choke has been opened I would value it less. With vent rib I have seen them sell for $225.00. Without rib, $125.00 to $150. There are lots around, so no one has to pay top dollar.

I didn't suspect any "collector" value. It was opened up by a very Reliable gunsmith here in Vancouver. And like I said, it has successfully shot ducks, geese and sporting clays.
