Cz 75 B Just arrived !

75SA has grip very similar to Shadow and a bit different from 75B and 85C. Safety levers are same too, and I like that. It seems to be more accurate than 75B or 85C.
Personally, I wanna stick with SA for ESP and modify Shadow for SSP if I shoot it. Spartan for CDP.
I'll be replacing factory SA sights with Tactical rear and FO front, factory sights are so so. ...

SA is also cheaper than 85C, Wolverine sells them for $655 vs $755 for Combat.

Hey CeeZer:

Regarding the 75SA, I note that the 40S+W (which converts to 9mm, w/ and EFK barrel) has NO firing pin block? Does this make the gun more reliable due to the absence of these features (yeah, all CZs are reliable, but more reliable and easier to work on)? How do you like the straight blade trigger on the SA? In competing with the SA, do you carry it cocked & locked? Finally, do you have any thoughts on who makes the best night sight for the 75? Cheers!

Well I had a great day at the range yest , Put about 200 rounds through the new pistol , Im very happy with it , the DA trigger pull is pretty bad , but I did order the # 13 spring so hopefully that will improve things , but all in all Im very pleased ! recommend this pistol to anyone !

Glad to hear you like it. Another happy cZ shooter. When will you buy your next? You are sliding down the slippery slope.

That's odd, all 75B guns have FPB, 'B' stands for Block there. If you look at the rear serrations of the slide and see a hole and pin in the area - it's got FPB. Combat, Tact Sport and Shadow are examples that don't.
In theory, less parts - better reliability, in practical terms - there is no difference in reliability dept. They are a little easier to work on, come with better trigger and easier to improve trigger.
Yes, cocked and locked, but you load the gun only after 'load and make ready' command :D It does take time to re-learn to take safety off after you draw and before you fire 1st shot :D compared to DA/Production.
I never needed night sights, had a SP-01 Tact and front sight was a little thick to my liking (great gun thou), but were bright and good overall. I don't know of direct fit sights except CZ Mepro.

Thanks again. I agree, it does seem odd. The SA in 9mm (on the US site) shows the FPB but when you switch the caliber option the FPB goes away. I actually called CZ USA; the woman I spoke with said that it was correct. I am frankly still doubtful, and will perhaps call the guys at the custom shop.

FPB feature is comprised of FPB lifter (in sear cage) and FPB itself in slide; if frame and slide stay the same, feature stays in place too.
