Moose season in T-minus 30 days...

Was watching a cow moose with her new baby at work today and it just hit me...moose opens in 30 days! Time to double check the rifles and pick up a tag. Anyone else getting ready to look for an early swamp donkey?

Holy Snap, the middle of August?!?! My season doesnt begin until the 3rd Sat in October.

Our moose season opens Aug 1st until Oct 31, but I don't know anyone who hunts them that early.

The August 15 opening in northern BC is any bull, two weeks of season. So the only chance at a the any bull is early.
For many years in BC we had an any bull season starting Sept 1 and ending Dec. 15! Obviously, those days are long gone.

Yup, the early season is for any bull and for the freezer you can't beat a fat August moose Even the big bulls are delicious

For my draw here in B.C., MU 5, the season 'opens' September 10th - 30th. I have an added benefit for that timeline, retired.

First week of October for us . Excited to load up some 160 and 185 TTSX's and debate what ones I wanna bring for moose. Also excited to try out some Sitka stuff I've ordered over the winter/summer.

Bigbore, I too have the fever hoping to squeeze moose, goat and elk in between the 15th and the 1st of sept. Just gotta build 60 klicks of road before then............ sure wish I was as rich as I am good looking LOL
