Cutting SR-22 barrel???

I picked up a SR-22 and im thinking about having the barrel cut and crowned at 11-12" (shortest that I can go and still be 26+OAL). It's pretty much just a plinking gun as it has a red dot sight. Will this affect accuracy much or will I prob not even notice?

has to be over 18.5" if you cut it to be legal.

BUT You can buy aftermarkets barrels that are 11-12" and be legal.

So my next ? is would a Dlask 12" barrel work well in a SR-22 free floated?

Sorry mabye I didn't word that very well, I was just wondering if anyone has tried a Dlask 12" barrel in a SR-22?

I dont see why it wouldnt work the SR-22 is just a 10/22 so I dont see why Dlask's 10/22 barrels wouldnt fit

If anyone tries 10/22 barrels in a SR-22,
please remember that the barrel support block
is made for the SR-22 barrel (.750" diameter),
while aftermarket barrels can be either .920" or factory contour.
