Its done... for now :)

I got:
-Dlask rails
-New hammer and springs
-Clear buffer pin
-Extended mag release
-Flipdown sights and laser pointer off of ehobby asia (airsoft supplier in hong kong, parts are of same quality and half the cost :D)
-Magazine I also got from capital airsoft here in the city for 16 bucks, compared to 60... Its just glued to the bottom of the 10 shot rotary mag

Looks good. One question....does the top-front rail match up exactly to the height of the top-rear rail ? Mine doesn't. Not much difference, but is noticeable if you look closely.

No mines a tiny bit off aswell, im not too concerned about it though :p

I just bought the same battle sights off the airsoft dude from Hong Kong and an eotech clone. How is the quality? It said they were made from steel...

I only paid $18 bucks each. $36 for both sights and $40 for the clone shipping included.

I'm guessing the shipping time will be a bit of a wait?

I think it took about 7 or 8 business days, as for the quality im impressed, everythings functional and the corners are nice and crisp. They're not jagged or anything from poor manufacturing :)

Nice rifle! I like the mag mod. I seen the exact same thing on another on in the pic thread. I may end up doing this as well to give it the whole complete AR look.

You could probably shim the back rail post with a piece of tin from a pop can if it comes down to it. Just sharpie the edges so you can't see it.

Clean build, ignore any haters.. I have a Armalite AR-15 too and it looks the same lol. :) Gotta get myself some Dlask rails now too! :)

Thanks guys!

Freakin awesome dude! This is the reason why i have second thoughts of buying the CQ-a rifle (restricted).

Well I wanted the colt m4 22 but the restricted was what turned me away, I thought I would take a chance with the sr-22 and see if I can get it to look like an ar 15. im happy with how it turned out :) not that much work either.

I'm very impressed. You have managed to make your gun look almost identical to Rugers SR556, which is a fantastic gun and wish they would sell them here. (american export laws.) and might I say i absolutely love what you did with the magazine. Would you be willing to provide more detail as to how you got that to work?? I have done pretty much all i want to do with mine but the magazine will be another change. And my brother is going to sell me his adjustable AR15 stock so that will be another change.
but truely, you have done well.

Nice gun, i like how it looks. I just dropped my sr22 of at dlask the other day and their sizing a new block for thier 12 inch bull barrel for it. Also gonna cut down the handguard to just over half the length and cut down rails for it as well. I think if it works out well they might make full sets available for this type of setup, if anyone is interested.

do you iron sights line up front to back??? most sights I have found are meant to be mounted on a gas tube instead of a flat picatinny rail ... I haven't ordered anything because I'm unsure if they will sit correctly
