Hi Folks

Just purchased my first pistol a CZ sp-01 shadow, the gun feels and looks fantastic, i can't want to shoot it, just looking for some feed back on the pistol from some of the members

Kris

Love mine got it recently as well. You'll love shooting it. I don't think anyone that buys one could be dissappointed. Easy to clean, however the pin is a little hard to pop out. use the mag and then I used the little plastic cleaning rod to lever it out.

Well have you shot it yet?

They are great guns and fit my hand well. I have a half dozen other pistols and the Shadow is my favorite! This week anyway. I'm sure I'll fall in love with something else soon.

No it will never be a fricken glock:nest:

I said many time not a Glock for me but I bought one and like it a lot. Man is an animal that change their mind everyday. Today she is your enemy but tomorrow she is your bed buddy:D

You probably have a point. I actually like seeing Glock guys fired up more than I dislike Glocks. They can be a passionate bunch:rolleyes:

My apologeez to the OP as I have gone astray.

You're right- it is fantastic. However, I recommend you change the stock 18lb mainspring for a 13lb spring. If you can, measure the trigger pull weight in both DA and SA, then measure again with the lighter mainspring. The difference is noticeable, and worth the seven dollars a new 13lb mainspring will set you back. Contact member Ceezer here about it.
It's not at all difficult to swap the mainspring out yourself. I did it in about 10 minutes, never having done anything similar before. There was a recent thread on this:
