Yes, Model 22, Model of 1917 - S&W Classics - Blue
![]()
There are others models from S&W but the barrel is to short for Canada.
There are older S&W revolvers of Brazilian contract, (M1937) that occassionally pop up on the CGN EE. After WW2, these were used by officer cadets in training. They seemed to be shot less, and carried more.Me likey! Anybody seen them in Canada anywhere?

External finish will vary, usually alot of holster wear and blueing loss, minor surface corrossion, especially the backstrap.
Yes there are the original M1917s too, but be expecting to pay a premium price for them in good condition.
I'm aware of the older pistols floating around, what I meant to say was, have any of S&W's new classic line made it into Canada, and does anyone here have any experience with them. I think a new .45 acp would go well with my old .455 hand ejector.
Wanstalls out my way has a new Classic line 1917. Its done with a color case frame and is positively gorgeous.
