870 Question

I too am with the Winchester nay sayers. I and two of my buddies decieded to purchase 870 super mags at the same time just before the waterfowl season. We all shot our hand me downs previous to this and never had any problem shooting winchester ammo infact we used to buy winchester drylock and had alot of it. Well when we bougt our new guns we had a bunch of drylock and other winchester ammo and methodically it jammed on all three of our guns. Now I shoot federals, Remington, and Kent no issue. Infact I was shooting 5 stand with my 870 the other day and a guy had an 870 shooting winchester clay loads, and he was jamming up a lot, i was shooting federal trap and skeet the stuff you get from Canadian tire, without any jamming. I mentioned this to him and he didnt really believe me though, I guess he thought i was razzing him about his choice in shotshell.

Cheers,
Kris

Polish the chamber with metal polish like Flitz and use fine steel wool on a 12 gauge bore brush/rod chucked in your drill. DO NOT use sandpaper, you don't want to remove material just polish it. Once polished the gun will cycle ALL shells including the cheap stuff.
