can someone post a comparison shot of the restricted/non restricted versions of the cz 858 please.

just wondering if the hassles that come with restricted firearms are worth it or not. list any differences, pros/cons.

You will have better opportunity to use a non restricted firearm. Less red tape and take it anywhere.

I have been using my 858 for deer hunting and it has been a lot of fun. Buy the rifle that you can get some real use out of - not just shooting targets. Just my $.02.

i don't hunt so it will be mainly used at the range. i guess it is still nice to not have to worry about ATT and other silly things. so if i went camping etc.. i could take the 858 along no problems?

That depends where you go. Most likely answer is yes you can. Shoot safe.

Same here. I've become quite attached to my XS7 as a matter of fact. Besides, my son wants to use my CZ858 for deer.....

Works great for still hunting deer. One of my favorites.

the thread that is linked to show the difference between the restricted and non-restricted 858 isnt working (for me atleast) says its an invalid thread. Could someone else link or please state here what the difference is?

Restricted has military spec barrel ( Chrome lined). Non restricted version has non chrome lined barrel.

Ok, I just bought an 858 because you can take it anywhere. When I was checking them both out in the store, the only difference I could see was in the barrel length. Go for the non restricted, your gonna end up modifying it like this one anyway. I did!!!! Also, where did you get that sweet suppressor dude? It looks awesome!!!!
