Just wondering -

Its a bit over the top but the price is still in line with the uber rare sniper rifles and unlimited F-class guns.

Aside from destroying APCs, hovering helos and Hummers from far away I may have to wait for the blue whales to re-evolve back to land mammals to hunt with a 20mm.

I understand the CIA purchased 50 of these anti material rifles. Like whats wrong with UCAVs already?????????

There should be no rules preventing you from owning such a thing.

Getting one exported from the US would present some serious problems if that is the only source you are looking at. Then of course there is the cost issue and finding a range where you could really make use of all a rifle like that has to offer.

There is company in Croatia that makes something similar it is called "Elephant Gun". I think it would be possible to import.
If you custum order on in Canada, I think it is posssible. You looking at $10000.00 price range, if you do it think about the ammo. Only choose caliber in 20mm that is used by Canadian Army, brass will be easier to get from Army Guys

I have pictures of the Croatinn thing in an army magazine but I have no idea how to upload pics on this site, and I will never pay for site such as photobucet

It said I have to pay they $6.95 a month. if it is I will photo the pic in the magazin and will post it

They have a basic level of service that is free, additional services cost money. I post a reasonable amount of pics online and have never needed more than the free service from Photobucket.

Anyways..... back to the rifle.
I got to check out one when I was done at Knob creek for a shoot. I discovered it by accident and was shocked when I saw it, it was gorgeous. I talked to the guy and said "wow this thing must be nasty to shoot, I've got a 50 that kicks this must be worse"
The guys said No, actually this kicks less than the 50 due to the fact it weighs around 125 lbs. and it's still classified as non restricted.
Not sure about the inport laws but I know the cost of feeding a 50, this must be outrageous, laff.

And by the way in regard to the min. calibers and no max. EVERY range has a max. allowance.

You might also want to look into a Lahti (23mm Finnish bolt action anti-tank from WWII).

There are quite a few different 20mm cartridges. The air-to-air ones tend to be relatively low performance (low 2000s fps). The antiaircraft ones are pretty high performance (3000+fps).

The Lahti like the Solothurn is 20mm or more correctly 20x138B

The 20MM that Mike at Anzio makes is normally 20mm Vulcan, and as it is classed as a "destructive device" in the Excited States, non exportable.
