Recently acquired this Brno 21 in 7X57. Thought I'd share some results I came up without much trouble. I used "new" Remington brass, 160gr. Speer Grandslams (cause I have lots of them) and 48gr. IMR4350 (cause I have 16 lbs of the stuff). This 3-shot,100 yard group measured 1/2 inch!No pressure signs in my gun. Plan to carry this and my .300 H+H for Elk/Moose/deer in September and November.

Beautiful gun and great caliber! Now you gotta get some pics of some elk/moose/deer that you shoot with it. Good luck.

I have to tell you that both your Brno and your .300 H&H are terribly flawed. I used a Brno just like yours on a big bull moose (quite a few moons ago) and, even though the distance was only 200 yards, I had to shoot that moose twice. It was horrible. I'll save you from your anxiety...

The .300 H&H, well, let's just say that I lollygagged for one day too long on that pre-'64 that was collecting dust at Pullen's. So, long story short, I am jealous. ;)

He,He. Yeah I kinda regret selling that .300 H+H M70 that was at Pullen's. Was "talked out of it" and it was a "tack driver". Still have some groups from that rifle. Here's some pics of that M70. Long gone, but not forgotten. Was a long heavy brute I recall.
Cheers

Brno rings

What kind of rings and bases are those Geoff?

The bases came with the rifle. Didnt notice any markings, but they have a single hex screw that holds in place. Rings are Kesselring I had lying around that fit perfectly and give just enough clearance for the VariX III 2.5-8X36 Leupold. The rifle also came with set of new Leupold medium mounts that just cleared a Leupold compact, but not enough for my liking.
