Here are some pictures before and after cleaning my new M4. Should get a good range report on Sunday. Definitely clean these babies before you shoot them. Not only did I have a desiccant rag in the barrel but I had one inside the upper....

Looks great! (I like your work space as well!)

Are those two 10rd mags glued together? Can you still remove the floor plates for cleaning?

Anyway, I like the idea of doing something like that for my AR's... I have something similar for my 10/22 (TriMag).

Thanks. I just used the couplers to put two LAR15 mags together. They replace the floorplates on each mag. You can buy the couplers in metal or plastic. Metal is about $40 and polymer is $5-$6.

Nice... the glock and ar go together real nice.. where did you buy the Norc from?

I may have to get one for myself since the wife shot my ar on the weekend, and claimed it as hers.

I bought it from the Ammo Source. Very impressed with it so far as are many others. I think Norinco has stirred the pot with this one! :D

It's about time someone put up some awsome pics with good lighting. It looks better then i thought all cleaned up.

When is the boat comming !!!! MARSTAR !!!!!!!!

I wonder if Murdoc would be able to refinish these and if so how much it would cost?

Here was his reponse to that question minus the cost in another thread.....

Yes you can arma-coat a Norinco AR. We have done lots as they are lacking a good finish. Yes everything would be functional as arma-coat is extremely thin. You can either send the rifle to us or we can sell you the product to do it yourself. Arma-Coat is not a dip process its a spray on finish. Here is a picture below not a Norinco but an AR which is exactly the same thing. If you decide to get one they are easy to work with and just as reliable as any of the super AR's out there for sale.

They sure clean up nice! I hope John at Marstar comes through quick for you guys. I heard from someone that imports guns as well that it's because of the size of John's shipment and nothing else....

I took the carry handle off and put my Aimpoint/Larue mount on. My new flip up rear sight is in the mail so I can cowitness the sights with the red dot. Also coming with the rear sight is a quad rail forend and a forend grip. That will be the extent of my build. Shot only 70 rounds today. Doesn't say much but no issues. Very happy so far. Groups at 50m were good but need to adjust the Aimpoint for POI as it used to be sighted for my Roni conversion before. The Roni now sports an M4 carry handle for a rear sight and a flip up front sight. :)
