just got home, not a great day today, but salvaged it with a decent run at the end. JPD shot pretty good and it's great being squaded with him and the other Quebec guys (and one dude from Ontario, and of course Brad from BC).
not super happy about the reshoot I did get, and even more unhappy about the one I didn't get. I really really hate when people paste targets early.

Well I gave him the chocolate milk and let me tell you, it wasn't chocolate milk..........

Dear Nationals Diary,

Well, there is good news, after forgetting my RO shirt at home, Cornbread has lent me one of his.

I have decided that because it is fairly long, I will wear it like a sundress... A manly sundress and nothing there-under but a pair of cleats. I'm sure you can imagine the surprise when the other shooters realize there is nothing but me freely swinging under there. I sincerely hope that no one drops their gun on stage 12 and I do not have to bend to retrieve anything. Imagine the shock of the crowd if they notice me breath-taking shaved-ness!

I can't wait until morning. Tee hee!

"Sir, you're holster is supposed to be behind the hip-bo.... AAARRGGHH!"

Nats 2010

Jim, just don't let him stand behind you and you should be ok.

Actually it was quite a fun time with the Ontario Production guys. They kept us entertained the whole way through the match. It was a pleasure shooting with our group and we had a lot of fun.

More to come from the banquet.
:slap:

Back on topic, Jim it was alot of fun shooting with you guys too.
The day definitely went a bit faster with some of the banter that went on.

I had a good time at the nationals. The weather was near perfect; ranges #12 to #16 were just a little dusty, cough, cough. I worked with the team from Quebec on Saturday afternoon. I would like to party with these guys if I make it to the nationals in Quebec next year.

I shot production and I came in at the middle of the pack. Not bad for a senior with deteriorating knees and less than perfect eyesight. I would have done better if I stayed away from hitting the no-shoots on Thursday afternoon . The "boat" stage (#12) was the last stage I shot on Thursday and was clusterf**k for me, but I still had fun.

Thank you to all that worked so hard to put this match together.
Cheers.
:)
